My New Isla Life So Far!

So far......

Things have been great here on Isla Mujeres. I arrived with my mom on June 29th with an uneventful trip. Spent the first few days at the beach and getting settled in. All I really remember was that it was MUCHO CALIENTE! My aunt Cindy arrived on July 4th. We did the regular tourist stuff like the beach, dinner at many new places, and just driving around the island. Shortly into our trip my friend Miguel's girlfriend, Andrea, came to visit so I got to know her and hung out with her a bit. Mom and Cindy left on July 9th and so me and Andrea started hanging out more. Miguel and her started not getting along so she got her own place a few days into her trip, which meant Miguel was no longer speaking to me since I was mingling with the enemy!! I knew he would be my friend though when she left. Her last night here we went out with a bang!! A long night out with lots of friends and with some coaxing from Miguel's friend Oli she decided to stay a few more days. So she came and stayed with me. Lots more beach time and partying were had!! Once she left, that only left me with Oli to help me hang out to my "tourist" status which Javi and Miguel firmly reminded me I was no longer. Oli's friend Brian came a couple days before Oli left, but he is opening a business and going to live on the island, so he is enjoying his "tourist" status as well! Oli left 2 days ago and after about 2 straight weeks of going out every night I stayed home last night!! It was rough, I was bored, and hot!! I remembered why I go out every night, BECAUSE I CAN!! Also, I haven't had Internet for about a week which left me very bored!! Javi manages to keep me entertained most days trying to convert me from tourist to islander girl status, but when he goes to play at night, what's a girl to do?!! So that's the bare bones of my new isla life so far, sin picturas, and I promise to keep everyone updated from now on con picturas!!
